Founded by attorney and real estate developer Mark J. Bennett, the firm combines more than three decades of legal experience with firsthand development expertise. Mark J. Bennett is the founder of MJBennett PLLC and has spent more than 30 years representing developers, investors, nonprofit organizations, municipalities, and businesses in complex real estate and finance transactions.
His experience extends well beyond traditional legal practice. Mark has served as both legal counsel and principal in significant development projects involving multifamily housing, mixed-use development, affordable housing, tax credit financing, and public-private redevelopment initiatives.
Throughout his career, he has helped structure and close transactions involving hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate investment, debt financing, and economic development incentives.
Today, Mark advises clients on legal strategy, project structuring, capital formation, governmental approvals, and transaction execution while continuing to work on innovative housing and redevelopment initiatives throughout Michigan.
